About the Instructor:
My name is Sipan Elmas. I am from Bidlîs (Northern Kurdistan). With 15 years of experience teaching Kurdish folk dance classes, I have worked as an instructor for two years, teaching approximately 25 to 40 students in Bidlîs and Diyarbekir.
Within the two-month (eight-week) program, I aim to teach various lively dances from the Diyarbekir and Bidlîs regions. Dances include Delilo, Govend, Potporî, Bablekan, Şemmame, Xalkuşla, Çepik, Sipe, Xezalê, and Kafaş.
