Kurdish Cultural Center of Illinois wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
We play a vital role in uniting and serving Chicago’s Kurdish community, and we would like to extend our efforts overseas. We are dedicated to assist families in Western Kurdistan (Rojava) – who were recently liberated from ISIS – in the reconstruction of their schools, hospitals, and cities that were destroyed during the war. Without a government willing to provide these basic needs, families are left on their own to find ways to move forward.
We at the KCC recognize education to be an essential tool and an investment when rebuilding life in war zones. With your help, we can begin a scholarship program for the students of Rojava, restore the area’s water lines and electricity, and rebuild the community. The KCC can only achieve this goal with the assistance of generous donations from individuals like you. Help us restore hope and the lives of Kurdish families today. Donate now via the Donation button. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us directly. We welcome all questions or information you seek in making decisions about contributing. Thank you in advance for your donations.
